An impressive outing cycling the roads and mountain ports of La Vuelta´s stage topped off with an arrival to the never-before-run monte Oiz, with a 20% incline.

Starting from Durango to link with the stage of La Vuelta in Mungia we will climb up San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, Balcon de Bizkaia and the tough mountain ramps of monte Oiz, where we can descend directly back into Durango.

This is an amazing tour, as much for its toughnes as for the beaty of the scenery. Riding through San Juan de Gastelugatxe, the fishing port of Bermeo, Gernika and then the climb that will take us up to monte Oiz.

This route demands a good physical condition due to the kilometres run but also to the 2.784 metres of positive incline

There is the possibility of shortening the route by ascending directly from Durango to Balcon de Bizkaia to turn from there towards monte Oiz.

Minimum 4 people per group for a guided tour.

After the day´s cycling there is a special menu available in the Gran Hotel of Durango and a spa session to recuperate from your efforts.
